TRE Expands to Indy

Thiemann Real Estate announces the acquisition of Scandia Apartment Homes located at 9250 Kungsholm Drive in Indianapolis, IN. TRE purchased the 444 unit apartment community on November 9, 2010 from apartment REIT AIMCO which is based in Denver, CO. Scandia is a well-appointed mature community located along Allisonville Road in the coveted north suburb of Indy know as Castleton. It has long been a staple in the area and is known for its spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartment homes. This is TRE’s first venture into the Indianapolis market.
